The Delta football team defeated Yorktown 22-13 last Friday.  Behind a suffocating Defense, the Eagles held Yorktown 17 rushing yards.  Braxton Russell, Caleb Jones, Jennings, Wine, Landon Brooks, Nash Keesling, call Mynett, and Ryder Turner all carried the defense.  Kam Wilson, Marcus, Bright, Nate Manor, and Zane Cline played outstanding in the secondary.  Cline sealed the game with a late interception.

Delta's offensive playmakers had a great night.  The offense registered 18 first downs and 380 yards.  Bronson Edwards led the way with 3 passing touchdowns.  Jayleon Jones and Jonny Manor each had acrobatic scoring catches.  Nolan Carpenter and Kaiden Bond combined for 213 rising yards.  The offensive line put together their best effort of the season.

Kicker Brayden Stanley added a 33 yard field goal and two touchbacks.

Delta moves to 4-0 on the season.
