The Lady Eagles kicked off their postseason run in dominant fashion Thursday night, defeating Jay County 9-0 in the Sectional Semi-Final at Yorktown. Delta took a 5-0 lead into halftime and continued to control the match through the second half, showing composure and creativity on the attack while keeping another clean sheet defensively.

Grace Jarrells led the scoring effort with 4 goals and 2 assists. Avery Jarrells added 4 goals in total—one being from a penalty kick—and 1 assist. Jordan Bunch contributed 1 goal and 2 assists, while Aubree Jarrells recorded an assist. In goal, Ruth Sherck made 5 saves to secure the shutout.

Izzy earned Player of the Game honors for her strong performance and steady presence in the midfield, helping the team maintain possession and transition effectively throughout the match.
