Carl has coached high school boys and girls golf for 16 seasons in Michigan and Indiana. After retiring in 2018 Carl decided to continue his passion of helping young golfers improve at Delta High School Boys Golf. As a volunteer assistant under Coach Steve Wuthrich and now his son, David, Carl coordinates fundraising activities, admin duties, and helps to develop short game skills with the younger players on the team. Carl lives in Gaston with his wife Laura! They enjoy following all six of their grandchildren in Missouri and Indiana. His Grandson, Riley, starts his freshman year at IU East as a member of a talented golf program. Riley was a State Tournament Qualifier and won the Delta Invite his senior year at Delta. Grandson Cooper has played 2 seasons for the golf team, and moved into the 4 spot for the team as a sophomore. He has recently broken into the 70’s and will be an important part of our success this season. Carl looks forward to working with the many athletes who show up each year to be a part of this great game.
